As the hustle of the holiday season fades, we are ready to embrace the crisp air and vibrant events that define January 2025. Discover some hidden gems, internationally recognized and up-and-coming artists in Northampton this month.

1 NORTHAMPTON TOWN AND COUNTY ART SOCIETY 107TH OPEN ANNUAL EXHIBITION
Northampton Town and County Art Society are exhibiting at Northampton Museum and Art Gallery until Sunday 23rd February.
This year marks the Society’s 107th exhibition showcasing the work of members, and selective non-members, giving visitors a chance to see the wide variety of styles and subjects that a group show offers.

FROM THE COLLECTION: EVERYDAY: artists have always sought to depict the everyday from working lives to domestic moments. This exhibition will look at these often-intimate scenes and includes the work of Sir Frank Brangwyn, Charles Spencelayh, Jan Miel and Sir Francis Cook.

2. Come and meet internationally recognized contemporary fine artist Craig Alan, whose artwork varies in subject from realism to abstract. His signature pieces capture the essence of famous faces, iconic landmarks, abstract concepts, and tributes to art history. These extraordinary artworks are meticulously crafted using dozens, and sometimes hundreds, of intricately painted exquisite figures.
Craig will be at The Rose Gallery on Friday 31st January, from 6-8pm during his 2025 exhibition tour, Perfect Harmony. The Rose Gallery is a hidden gem within Bell Showroom, Kingsthorpe Road. 3. Not for profit organisation Lumina Arts Alliance will be offering free community workshops for 16- to 24- year-olds in photography, digital arts, creative make up, painting, interior design and music production throughout January.
