The Creative Place in Northampton’s Market Square, area is launching a Mini Makers Market from 22 November, running throughout the Christmas season and showcasing some of Northamptonshire’s most imaginative makers.
The festive pop-up will feature handmade gifts, cards, decorations, and a programme of free Christmas craft sessions for children and adults, including gift-tag making and paper-snowflake workshops.
Becky Carrier, Director of The Creative Place, said:
“We are excited about creating this festive space where visitors can both get creative and shop local. Some of our free activities for all ages include making gift tags as well as paper snowflakes to either take home or to help us fill The Creative Place with everyone’s festive snow! It’s going to be a lot of fun — we’re inviting everyone to stop by, grab a gift for someone you love, or just come in, get inspired, and get crafty!”

Her past projects include painting the piano of local musician Billy Lockett, who appeared on ITV’s The Voice in 2024.
Neo Intricate Designs (Nicola)
Nicola creates eco-friendly gifts using materials recycled from the food industry, preventing tonnes of waste from reaching landfill. Her collection includes leather bags, purses, keyrings, charms, trinket dishes, decorations, and jewellery crafted from wood, acrylic, and 3D-printed filament.
