📅 12th – 21st September 2025
📍 Across Northamptonshire
Heritage Open Days returns this September, offering the chance to step inside some of Northamptonshire’s most fascinating historic buildings and sites – all for free! Many of these venues are usually closed to the public or charge admission, making this a rare opportunity to explore the county’s rich cultural heritage.
Northampton: The much-loved vintage double-decker buses will be running from George Row on 20th & 21st September, giving you the perfect way to see the town in classic style. Routes and timetables will be available soon online, at Northampton Museum, and in the library.
Daventry: Back by popular demand! The heritage buses return on 13th September after last year’s success. Hop aboard and enjoy a nostalgic ride.
This year’s theme celebrates Northamptonshire’s architectural treasures – from stately homes and medieval churches to shoe factories and vibrant market towns.
