Are your boots made for walking?

Our popular Shoe Tours return to Northampton on Sunday (October 12).

Starting at 9am at Northampton Museum, the walking tour will take in the sights and history of the town’s famous shoe history, with stories of how manufacturers made their money, why Northampton became the shoe capital of the country, and where words like clicker and cobbler come from.

It costs just £10 to come along, payable on the day. Please email stepforwardwithlewis@gmail.com if you are interested, so we have an idea of the size of the group.

We’ll also be holding a special walking tour on Sunday, October 26 (start 9am) in aid of our Community Interest Company, Step Forward With Lewis CIC, and The Lewis Foundation – all proceeds go towards these two organisations and to put on strength and balance classes for cancer patients.
